Garden Coaching & Landscape Consultations

Jason Schultz and Kerry Ann Mendez, professional garden coaches and designers, provide sought-after solutions for reducing maintenance; replacing frustrating plants with top-performing perennials or shrubs; tackling poor soil problems; addressing your gardening questions; and more. The hourly consulting fee is $75. There is a small travel fee for properties outside a 15 mile radius of the nursery. Inspirational Classes & Workshops 

We offer dynamic programs, taught by professionals, which focus on how-to, practical tips and techniques. Topics range from creating ever-blooming perennial gardens; lawn care; pruning shrubs and trees; building terrariums; vegetable and container gardening; maintenance shortcuts and many other popular programs. Most sessions are 1 or 1.5 hours in length. Attendees receive helpful handouts as well as a special nursery discount coupon. For upcoming classes, please visit the Events page. 

Speaking Services

Are you looking for entertaining, inspirational and educational speakers that provide up-to-date industry knowledge as well as down-to-earth, garden-transforming expertise from their own hands-in-the-dirt experience? Call us at Faddegon’s! We offer group lectures in our new garden conservatory as well as instructional walking tours through the nursery’s extensive inventory. We will also travel to your venue. There are over a dozen lectures to choose from. Presentation fees vary based on the lecture’s location. Fees start at $100. Most lectures include a PowerPoint presentation and handouts.

Garden Design Recommendations

Helping customers with garden and landscape ideas is what we do at Faddegon’s! Bring pictures or dimensions of the area you would like to beautify and a member of our nursery staff will show you great plant choices. Depending on the area’s size, we can accommodate lengthier consultations by pre-arranged appointments. The consultation includes a written plant list, quote and/or drawn plan. Fees start at $50 for these lengthier services.

Would you love an outdoor kitchen, outdoor living space or sensational curb appeal? If your project is a large design and/or build job, then our Landscaping Department will be happy to meet with you. If you aren't sure which service you need, just ask anyone at the Garden Center and let us guide you.

Preferred Customer Club

We specialize in caring for customers and one way we do this is to reward loyal Faddegon's shoppers with nursery and gift center specials. Club benefits include the Perennial Club Card. Buy 10 perennials (valued at $5.98 or more each) and receive a $5 discount on your next perennial purchase. You will also be treated to special sales and discounts as well as a 1% rebate each time you spend $500. Members get advance notices of sales; events & seminars; 30% coupon events; Holiday open houses and premier nights. There is no charge to enroll in the this club. Simply sign up at the garden center or on our homepage.

Planting Services

For smaller installations...Let us do the work! We’ll be happy to install your new purchases. All plantings include delivery, proper soil amendments, and initial feeding. The fee for planting is typically 75% of the original cost of the plant material, with a $75 minimum. Additional fees apply for special services such as mulching, skimming beds and creating hedges. And as this installation service is a capital project, you won’t be taxed for the plants or the service!
