Seminar will take place at Faddegon's.

Build A Terrarium with Susan Platania
Saturday, February 18th
10 am to 12 pm - $65 fee
Terrariums offer a great way to show off the beauty of plants while being suitable for
any location in the home. Susan will walk you through choosing and arranging plants
and give you care instructions for your "glass garden".
Container and all materials are provided

Hydrangeas Old & New with Randy Herrington
Saturday, March 3rd
10 am to 11 am - $10 fee
Our nursery manager, Randy, is our resident expert on these beautiful bloomers!
New varieties are on the scene every year - there are so many hydrangeas to choose
from and so much to learn about them!


Pruning Shrubs & Trees
with Randy Herrington
Saturday, March 10th
10 am to 11 am - $10 fee
Pruning is important! Heavier flowering, fruiting and growth are the results of proper
pruning. Turn those blah plants into wow plants!

Birding with Tom Young
Saturday, March 10th
1 pm to 2 pm - Free
Tom knows everything about wild birds, and I mean EVERYTHING. Learn how
to get the best variety of birds or target your favorites. Tom also has great tips
and surprise info that dispels some myths of attracting wild birds.

Perennials - New Introductions with Susan Platania
Saturday, March 24th
10 am to 11 am - $10 fee
Susan always knows what's hot, what's underused and which flowers promise to
be a success in your garden. This is a great time of year to become acquainted with
new arrivals!

Interactive Gardening for Kids with Kerry Mendez
Tuesday,  March 10th
9:30 am to 11 am - $15 fee

hat better time to start up these delightful, interactive workshops than over April school break
week in the Capital Region? These interactive classes are filled with lots of fun and educational
experiences for children to discover the joy of growing beautiful flowers. Children will learn
how to plant and care for flowers; what makes a healthy soil; gardening for butterflies
and hummingbirds; flower colors and fragrances; good bugs, and more! Each child will plant
and take home their own potted flower at the end of the class.
The workshop fee is $15 per child. Children in grades first through sixth grade may participate.

Lawn Care & Repair with Bob Graves
Saturday, April 14th
10 am to 11 am - $10 fee
Whether your repairing or establishing a new lawn, make it less of a task by getting info from the
expert. Bob will get you headed in the right direction which will result in less time and money
